After ten years–off and on–in the making, “Afterlife Tracks” will see the light of day next month.
This true story occurs in my neurology practice. I stumble into what might be the proof of the existence of the Afterlife as I am helping a mother survive back-to-back tragedies. The book relates a series of paranormal events including one I experience at one of her relatives’ wake. At the peak of these episodes is a prophecy passed on by her late daughter—who died several years earlier—to the mother’s best friend during a near-death experience. It foretells the relative’s sudden death six months earlier. Its fulfillment sets me off on the search for a neurological explanation. The daunting task takes me beyond the confines of my office and neurological texts, leading me to the graveyard where the prophetess and the victim lie in repose. My quest ends at the edge of the gap between logic and faith. Here, armed with scientific reasoning, I confront the truth about the existence of the Afterlife.
The picture above shows the proposed cover for the new book. Any suggestion? I know quite a few of you have an artistic mind. Please, let me know what you think. You may leave your comment on my blog “The Classic Writer” or feel free to send me an email at louis@louisvillalba.com. Please, bear in mind that this is a pdf file. The colors will be brighter on the actual cover. What do you think about the font and the concept of the picture?
Thanks,
Louis Villalba
